SHAH ALAM: The Selangor state assembly will be dissolved on Thursday in a simple ceremony at the Istana Alam Shah here. Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah is expected to sign the proclamation of dissolution during the ceremony at 2.30pm.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had an audience with the Sultan on Wednesday following the dissolution of Parliament. Khalid entered the palace at 1.30pm and left at 2.15pm.
