PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia's fiscal deficit will swell from 4% to 11.5% within a year if Pakatan Rakyat's manifesto is implemented, said Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah.
He said the country's debt would spiral to 62.1% of gross domestic product (GDP) from the current 54.6%.
