King and Queen among dignitaries at ‘extra special’ Police Day banquet


KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police hosted a banquet to mark the 206th Police Day which was graced by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah.

In his speech at the event, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said this year’s celebration was extra special as it honoured the efforts of servicemen in spearheading the national defence initiative with other agencies to defend Malaysia from terrorists in Sabah.
