Najib is Selangor BN's election director for upcoming polls


PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has been appointed as the Selangor Barisan Nasional election director in a bid to recapture the state back from the Opposition in the upcoming general elections.

Selangor Barisan Nasional secretary Datuk Mohamed Idris Abu Bakar said the decision was made during a meeting on Saturday night where leaders met at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) to strategise the steps to recapture Selangor, which was chaired by the Prime Minister himself.
