‘We will not stop water talks’


PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Govern­ment will not stop the Selangor Government from holding negotiations to takeover the state’s water concession companies, if both parties agree to it.

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui said Selangor’s interest to gain controlling stakes in these companies was an ordinary commercial offer which should be done between both “buyer and seller”.
