KUALA LUMPUR: Police will look into the possibility of adopting the new operating procedure used in Saturday’s Perhimpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat rally for future gatherings given the peaceful outcome.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the new method, which included not deploying the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) and having minimal police presence, yielded positive results.
