Five districts in Selangor to face water disruptions

PETALING JAYA: Some 349,000 account holders in five districts are expected to face unscheduled water cuts due to a halt in the operations at the Sg Semenyih treatment plant after the river was suspected to be contaminated by palm oil.

Syabas chief operating officer Datuk Lee Miang Koi said the plant provided treated water for consumers in Petaling, Hulu Langat, Sepang, Klang and Kuala Langat.
