Eight years on, Tham may come back to challenge Yong

KOTA KINABALU: Former deputy chief minister Datuk Tham Nyip Shin (pic) is likely to make a political comeback in a bid to take on friend-turned-political foe Datuk Yong Teck Lee.

Speculation is rife that the 54-year-old veteran politician might contest on a Barisan Nasional ticket against the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president, who is also said to be attempting a political return by eyeing his traditional Likas or the Api Api state seat.
