KL commended for role as facilitator of Philippines’ peace framework agreement

PETALING JAYA: The United States has commended Malaysia for facilitating the framework agreement between the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

“The United States welcomes the signing of the Framework Agreement between the Government of the Philippines and the MILF in the presence of President (Benigno) Aquino of the Philippines and Prime Minister (Datuk Seri) Najib (Tun Razak) of Malaysia.”
