ALOR SETAR: Marriage between underage couple is not a crime in Islam if doing so can prevent the two from being involved in immoral activities, says a Kedah exco man.
“If parents of the underage couple permit the wedding, there should not be any problem, said state Islamic Religious, Education and Cooperative Committee chairman Datuk Mohamed Taulan Mat Rasul.
