PETALING JAYA: The authorities will carry out checks on traders who raise prices unnecessarily during the coming festive season.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry officers are making their rounds in the nationwide operations called “Ops Ramadan” to ensure that traders do not mark up the prices of essential items.
