PETALING JAYA: The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) will lend its expertise in assessing construction plans for eight food, handicraft and souvenir kiosks at the iconic Taiping Lake Gardens.
FRIM director-general Datuk Dr Abdul Latif Mohmod said its arborist (a specialist in the care of individual trees) had been sent to Taiping to check the place out before preparing a report.
