Lack of action and delays the main grouses about public service


PUTRAJAYA: Delays or lack of action on complaints has become the biggest nuisance faced by the public when they deal with authorities, according to the Public Complaints Bureau (BPA) annual report 2011.

Of the 13,356 complaints recorded by the bureau last year, 44.7% of them were about the public's unhappiness with the delay or neglect by civil servants to act on complaints.
