Form panel to probe RM1bil deal, Selangor govt told

KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor Government has been asked to set up a panel comprising independent valuers, accountants and NGO representatives to investigate the RM1bil questionable deal involving Talam Corp.

Selangor Barisan Nasional coordinator Datuk Seri Zin Mohamed, who made the call, said it was urgent to determine whether the state had overpaid Talam on the land price. “With due respect, we believe the Mentri Besar (Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim) should appoint land valuers to determine whether the pieces of land were overpriced and whether the state paid appropriately.
