PORT KLANG: The Government's programme to modernise sundry shops has received overwhelming response, with 338 outlets transformed to date.
Domestic Trade, Consumer Affairs and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the target under the Transformasi Untuk Kedai Runcit (Tukar) programme was 500 mini marts this year, but some 338 sundry shops had been modernised as on July 13.
