BALIK PULAU: Kampung Genting residents Wednesday staged a protest against the proposed acquisition of their land for the construction of the Asian Women Leadership University (AWLU).
They gathered in front of the Kampung Genting Jamek Mosque here at 10am to vent their anger and dissatisfaction against the Penang government over a proposal to acquire 40 hectares of their land for the project.
