Ex-Mimos man denies graft charge


KUALA LUMPUR: A former Mimos financial general manager claimed trial in the Sessions Court here to four counts of accepting bribes amounting to more than half a million ringgit.

Khairul Khalid, 52, was charged with taking RM502,002 in bribes from businessman Muhammad Khalid Ismail, 64, as an inducement to invest a total of RM5.5mil from Mimos Bhd’s investment fund in Eight Asset Management Sdn Bhd.
