Couple safe but child missing after car skids into river


IPOH: A couple managed to save themselves but their two-year-old son went missing after the car they were travelling in, skidded and plunged into Sungai Kayan, at Km 29 Jalan Teluk Intan-Sitiawan, early Wednesday.

Central Perak police chief, Supt Mohd Fakri Che Sulaiman said the couple were identified as the driver of the car, Ting Hock Seng, 45, and his wife, Kia Chew Shie, 34, and their missing child as Ting Ching Chik.
