KANGAR: Former Perlis Speaker Datuk Indera Jaya Mahmud Hashim passed away at 11.45pm on Wednesday night at his house in Kampung Darat, Beseri, near here.
The 89-year-old died of old age and nerve complications. He leaves behind wife Datin Argon Saad, 84, and three children Hakimi, a Public Works Department draftsman, Zurina, a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara Perlis and Zurida, an architect.
