PETALING JAYA: There has been a slight drop in road traffic accidents in school areas in the last few years after more road safety awareness and education programmes were conducted.
Police data revealed that the number of accidents in school areas had dropped by about 20% from 2008 (1,022 accidents) to 2010 (818 accidents).
