KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Sikh community thronged gurdwaras nationwide to celebrate Vaisakhi, the most important religious festival in the Sikh calendar.
At the 100-year-old Gurdwara Sahib Sentul here yesterday, hundreds attended the special prayers and the Nishan Sahib Salaami, which is also known as the hoisting of the Sikh flag.
