KLUANG: The new security laws to replace the Internal Security Act will not affect the country's security or deplete the role of the police, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.
He said the police have accepted and supported the new laws in the Security Offences (Special Measures) Bill, which was tabled in Parliament last week, to replace the Internal Security Act.
