PETALING JAYA: Maid agencies welcomed the possibility of having Myanmars as maids but cautioned that citizens from that country who become domestic workers would need to adapt to the local culture.
“Employers must be patient and understanding as it may take some time before they can adapt to the culture, food, religion and language in Malaysian homes,” said Malaysian National Association of Employment Agencies (Pikap) president Datuk Raja Zulkepley Dahalan.
