KUALA LUMPUR: Khairy Jamaluddin (BN-Rembau) has questioned the effectiveness of the Nur Alert early warning system on missing children, citing statistics showed it was only used five times since it was launched in January 2010.
"Fifty-four children were reported missing in 2010 but Nur Alert was only used twice that year. Why has it only been used a total five times when cases of missing children is high," he said when debating the Royal address in the Dewan Rakyat here Thursday.
