PAS division slammed for taking money from the poor

SITIAWAN: PAS would be taking money from the poor if it forces its members to put 15% of their BR1M award into the party's fund, Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said.

“It is unbecoming of PAS,” he said in response to an article in the taipingcentral blog site that a certain PAS division had asked for the contribution from party members who had claimed their RM500 under the Government's Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia aid scheme for families with monthly household income of less than RM3,000.
