KUALA LUMPUR: A MyKad with advanced security features will soon be introduced for all new applicants.
Although the current MyKad has a tamper-proof 64KB embedded chip, the new one, which uses laser-printing technology, will make it even more difficult for anyone trying to replace the photograph or details on it.
