15-year-old accident victim dies after seven months in coma


A 15-year-old boy died Thursday after being in a coma for seven months due to a road accident. The victim, Muhammad Afif Syazwi Saedin, was confirmed dead at Hospital Sungai Buloh. Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Ruslan Abdullah said the accident occurred on Oct 30, 2016 involving two motorcycles. All the victims were aged 15. It is understood that Muhammad Afif was heading towards Sungai Sireh when he collided with the other motorcyclist and a pillion rider. Muhammad Afif fell and sustained serious head injuries, while the other two teenagers suffered limb fractures.
