Student 'mortgages' nude photo to secure loan

A university student 'mortgaged' her naked picture to secure a $5,000 yuan (RM3,214) loan from a moneylender in Wuhan, Hubei province in China. She is now in hot water after failing to repay the debt. The loan shark had since sent out her naked picture to her parents, friends, relatives and course mates. The 20-year-old quit her studies and moved to Shanghai to avoid embarrassment. The university had sought help from the police and even arranged counselling session for her. But she refused to return to the university.
