Cosmetics millionaire Safiuddin Ilias, a former transgender woman who has reverted back to being a man, says he is planning to start a family in five years. "The main requirement for my (future) wife is that she must dress in full purdah (veil) and is loyal to the religion," the 22-year-old said. His current biggest challenge is getting the interest of the opposite sex. Safiuddin made his first million ringgit at the age of 19 through his cosmetics business. DSI Empire, and Safiuddin’s assets are reportedly now in excess of RM10mil. Safiuddin said he will be buying either a Bentley or Lamborghini specially for dakwah (missionary activities) which will be led by preacher Ali Russia, as a strategy to attract the rich. He recently made news when he underwent an operation to remove his breast implants.
> Thousands of pondok schools without CCC
Thousands of pondok religious schools nationwide do not meet the standards required of obtain Certificates of Completion and Compliance (CCC) issued by the Fire and Rescue Services Department. Only less than 100 pondok schools were found to have complied with the safety requirement, said Fire and Rescue Department Director-General Datuk Wan Mohd Nor Ibrahim. He also revealed that most of the schools had not complied with the Uniform Buildings Bylaws 1984. Some of the main safety problems include makeshift-style building structures, poor wiring, illegal extensions, and hiring of unlicensed contractors.
