A Form Four student is reported to have complained of stomach ache before she giving birth to a healthy 3.1kg baby in the the first aid room of a school in Kemaman, Terengganu, on Jan 3. The student had earlier asked for permission to leave the classroom, claiming she had a stomach ache, before confessing that she was about to give birth. The family of the girl sent her to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan in Kuantan for a thorough check one day after the delivery. According to Kemaman police, an 18-year-old teenage boy, who is the girl's boyfriend, has been detained following a police report lodged by the hospital over the teen pregnancy case. It was reported that the girl had had sex with the suspect five times. "The victim realised that she was pregnant when she missed her period and had informed the suspect about it," said Kemaman district police chief Supt Mohd Said Ibrahim.
