A 48-year-old cleaner has alleged that she was raped four times by a 65-year-old conman from Indonesia who claimed he could cure her sickness. The victim from Kuala Lumpur claimed she became semi-conscious after drinking water provided by the suspect every time she went to seek his "treatment". She only realised she was conned after her husband took her to seek medical treatment. A police report has been lodged.

A group of YSLM members who wanted to cancel their membership in the controversial multilevel marketing scheme failed to do so as the company's senior distributor did not turn up as promised. The group, some of whom travelled from outstation, was supposed to meet the distributor at a company branch in Kuala Lumpur on Monday. Members said each of them had invested thousands of ringgit but did not get anything in return. The company is established by self-proclaimed Chinese millionaire Zhang Jian.
