Road rage victim Sim Siak Hong, fondly known as Uncle Sim, was not invited to the house of businesswoman Siti Fairrah Ashykin Kamaruddin, also known as Kiki, to celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Even though Siti Fairrah, 30, had openly invited Sim in a radio interview recently, the 68-year-old retiree said Kiki had never personally contacted him. “I do not know where she is staying. But this is not important. Let bygones be bygones,” Sim said when contacted. Sim said the case had ended and he hoped that people would not discuss it anymore. Siti Fairrah was fined RM5,000 and ordered to perform 240 hours of community service by the Sessions Court after she pleaded guilty to intentionally committing mischief with a steering lock by hitting the hood and windscreen of Sim’s car.

Leung, 38, who married her Spanish husband Sergio Crespo Gutes three years ago, had previously expressed her desire to become a mother. Leung has however, not confirmed her pregnancy, merely stating that she is grateful for everyone’s concern.

Besides K-pop and television dramas, gold-plated accessories from Korea are apparently gaining popularity here in Malaysia due to their affordability and designs. The accessories retail from as low as RM15, with sellers at market stalls reportedly able to earn up to RM400 a day from sales. According to a retailer, many customers like buying Korean-made gold-plated accessories because they are durable.

Terengganu CID head assistant commissioner Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Hamzah has advised women not to wear too much jewellery so as to avoid becoming snatch theft victims. He added that snatch thieves make their moves regardless of whether the jewellery was fake.
