2017 has been a great year for Malaysian athletes. While 2016 saw Malaysia scoring its best results – four silvers and one bronze – at the Rio Olympics, 2017 has seen us gather an impressive haul of 145 gold, 92 silver and 86 bronze medals at the 29th SEA Games.

No less noteworthy is Malaysia’s performance at the 9th Asean Para Games, which saw the country’s athletes obtain 90 gold, 85 silver and 83 bronze medals.
