ENGINEERING courses at public universities will be redesigned to reflect current industry demands, said Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.

Before there was civil, electrical and chemical engineering but who would have thought, he said, there would be hybrid or new engineering fields like biomedical engineering- a fusion of medicine and engineering.
