BRIAN Soo Juan Chee woke up bright-eyed and bushy tailed last Saturday morning ready to take on the HotMaths Challenge 2017.

Held at KDU College’s Damansara Jaya campus, the two-hour competition aimed to expose pupils to Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Mathematics as well as the Sakamoto Math method - a method which originated from Japan that provides a simple yet systematic and structured technique to analyse questions in a logical way.
