STUDENTS who sat the GCE O- level last year have outperformed their seniors at the national exam, putting in the best showing since 1978.
Of the students who took the exam, 83.8% attained at least five passes, surpassing the 83.3% mark set by the 2014 cohort, which was the first to breach the 83% mark.
