MONASH University conferred the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, to Sunway Group chief executive officer (Education and Healthcare Division) Lee Weng Keng at its graduation ceremony recently.
The award was given in recognition of Lee’s “outstanding contribution to the Sunway Group and as a business management expert, as well as his interest in Monash University and invaluable contribution to the development of Monash University Malaysia” as highlighted by Monash chancellor Dr Alan Finkel during the ceremony.
