I COULD hear Cikgu Ismail as he revved his Norton motorcycle while passing my house on his way to school.
That was the sign that I’d be late for school. I hurry as I dress up picking up speed as I put on my white shirt and blue shorts. Next I check my school bag and books – they are all in. As I rush out the door, my mother calls out and I run towards her to salam and then leave for school.
