UKM School of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology lecturer Prof Datuk Dr Laily Din first stepped foot onto the university’s temporary campus which was the former Malayan Teachers College at Jalan Pantai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, in 1972.
