TRY as we may to look beyond the surface and believe that beauty is only skin-deep, today’s society values conventional beauty. Spurred on by the fantasy of the advertising world and Hollywood where everyone is young and attractive, more and more people come to believe that having good looks can open doors to better job opportunities, a better life, and sometimes, even a better partner.
