One and only outlet: Restoran Ismail is well knows for its nasi briyani among Taman Tun Dr Ismail residents.

THE recipe may be more than 300 years old but the nasi briyani at Restoran Ismail in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, is anything but old and tired.

Restaurant owner Ismail Abdul Aziz said he got the recipe from his uncle, who had learnt it from his grandfather, going all the way back to India where this style of briyani originated.
