Festival has potential to attract tourists


PONTIAN: The High Tide Water Festival, a once-in-a-year phenomenon, can potentially become an international tourist attraction.

Kukup state assemblyman Suhaimi Saleh said the high tide phenomenon, which occurs only on certain days in December every year, could draw more people to the Tanjung Piai National Park.
