MIRI: The folks of Baram district in interior northern Sarawak have praised the police for doing a professional job by being neutral during the protests at the blockade sites where the villagers have set up barricades in their attempt to stop the construction of the RM4 billion proposed Baram Dam.
Baram People Action Committee (BPAC) chairman Philip Jau yesterday told Sarawak Metro that the police teams who came from Miri and Marudi, had been fair and just when dealing with the protestors.
