RM1.5mil set aside for clean-up in Kajang

THE Selangor state government has granted an initial allocation of RM1.5mil to the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) to manage waste clean-up work in the municipality.

The grant is part of the state government’s plan to urge local councils to start managing their own waste instead of hiring contractors, and the focus would be on cleaning up public areas involving solid and bulk waste.
