RM2,000 worth of fruit tree saplings planted at Puchong apartments


The 29 fruit tree saplings of 10 species including mangoes, cempedak and jack fruit saplings planted at Sri Kesidang Apartments in Puchong was sponsored by Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han with the support of Puchong MP Gobeind Singh Deo and Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ). The trees were planted as part of MPSJ's Go Green Puchong initiative. Pictured are residents planting the saplings. Also belonging to the apartment's management committee members Leong P. K (left) and Grace Yong (right) have been apartment residents for 10 years and 12 years respectively, believing that the effort would make the compound greener and enrich the environment.

THE Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) recently planted 29 fruit tree saplings at Sri Kesidang apartments in Puchong as part of its Go Green 2014 programme.

The saplings which cost RM2,000 altogether, included mango, jackfruit and cempedak. They are expected to bear fruit in three to five years.
