THE Penang Consumer Protection Association feels that the total subsidy of more than RM21bil by the Federal Government for the RON95 petrol, diesel and LPG cooking gas should be reduced.
Its president K. Koris Atan said the Government could save about RM15bil in subsidy and use the money to help the over three million poor and needy in the country in areas such as health and education.
