TRAFFIC came to a standstill when staff members and guests of Cititel Penang in Penang Road rushed out of the hotel when a ‘fire’ broke out in one of the rooms.
The hotel staff members could be seen evacuating the premises in an orderly manner to the open car park area opposite the hotel.
