FAZILLAH Hamzah, 47, sells kuih by the roadside near the Lone Pine Apartments in Paya Terubong, Penang, every day and earns about RM50 to RM60 a day, barely enough to provide for her two schoolgoing children aged 13 and nine.
She receives RM200 monthly from the state Welfare Department and basic household necessities from the House of Hope in Air Itam.
