MIRI: An expert has urged to rope in international nature-volunteer organisations to Sarawak to help conserve and increase the population of the rare turtles that are dwindling in population.
Dr Lisa Marie King, Senior Research Fellow of Curtin Sarawak Research Institute at the Curtin University of Technology campus in Miri said that since Malaysia and Sarawak are the nestling ground for several species of rare sea-turtles, the government will be able to attract keen interests from nature lovers from overseas towards any protection and conservation efforts.
