MIRI: An awareness campaign is being carried out in fishing villages along the coastal shores of Miri district in northern Sarawak to try and get fishermen to avoid catching and killing rare and protected marine animals, such as dolphins.

The Marine Fisheries Department have deployed staff to the fishing villages along the coast to talk to the fishing communities on the need to conserve and protect these rare marine creatures.
